EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 1996

Each collegiate chapter meeting the listed performance standards between May 1 and April 30 will be eligible to request presentation of this award to their chapter at the Annual Awards Recognition Ceremony.

  1. A chapter commitment to increasing total membership as evidenced by:
    • Designed recruitment policies established. (when done)
    • Organized implementation of recruitment policies.
    • Stated yearly new member goals met.
  2. A chapter commitment to the maturation of its membership as evidenced by:
    • Specific educational opportunities for the membership.
    • Desired results from challenging committee responsibilities
    • Review of issues and information from Annual Management Conference.
  3. A chapter commitment to chapter perpetuation as evidenced by:
    • Maintenance of balance among under-classmen and upper-classmen.
    • High retention of current members until graduation.
    • High percentage of eligible students approached to become members of Gamma Iota Sigma.
